A TEMPORARY closure will be in place at a recycling centre in the area.
The closure - at the Sort It recycling centre and reuse shop in Short Way, Thornbury - begins on Monday, September 16.
It is set to last for three weeks until Monday, October 7.
A spokesperson for South Gloucestershire Council said: "We will be carrying out essential repairs to the wall along the entrance ramp and parts of the reuse shop building.
"We are also doing some routine maintenance work in the yard.
"Residents with a registered vehicle can use any of the other three Sort It recycling centres at Yate, Little Stoke and Mangotsfield for their household waste.
"Just remember that Little Stoke has a height barrier, trailer ban and cannot accept some materials."
