POLICE have released a statement following a crash next to a hotel in the Berkeley area.
Officers attended the incident on the A38 southbound close to the Prince of Wales Hotel yesterday, Wednesday, September 18.
The collision involved two vehicles.
A spokesperson from Gloucestershire Police said occupants of the cars sustained minor injuries and the road was temporarily closed.
They said in a statement: "We were called to the B4066 in Berkeley shortly before 4.15pm yesterday (Wednesday) with a report of a two vehicle collision.
"The occupants of the cars sustained minor injuries and the road was blocked.
"A road closure remained while emergency services were in attendance and was lifted at around 7pm after Highways colleagues attended."
Stroud Police posted photos of the incident on social media, urging drivers to find alternative routes.
