A community came together to help in the fight against cancer with a wonderful coffee and cake morning in Horton.
Dozens of people baked goodies for the Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning held in Horton.
Photographer Rich McD was on hand to capture the coffee morning on camera.
One of the organisers Mags Bond said: "On first count we have today raised for Macmillan Cancer Support just shy of £2300!.
"This is thanks to all the helpers organizers etc and also to all of you guys who came over and donated.
"Without those donations, it wouldn’t happen so thank you so so much. Love you all."
Macmillan Cancer Support has a clear strategy as explained on its website;
It says: "Right now, more than 3 million people are living with cancer in the UK. By 2030 this figure will rise to 4 million.
"We’re here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, by providing physical, financial and emotional support.
"We'll do whatever it takes, no matter what a person's needs are, we will listen and support them however they need us to — big or small."
