RAIL passengers have faced disruption this morning due to a broken-down train in Yate.
National Rail first alerted passengers to the issue at around 10am today, Saturday, October 12.
Writing to X, formerly Twitter, a spokesperson said a broken-down train had blocked the line.
They added that services running through stations between Gloucester and Bristol Parkway may be cancelled or delayed.
The train was eventually cleared from the line at around 10.40am, but disruption remains.
According to Great Western Railway’s website, passengers travelling on the 8.55am train from Gloucester to Bristol Temple Meads were delayed by an hour.
