A RESTRAURANT has returned to its 'spiritual' Thornbury home six years after its closure.
Mezze which closed in Thornbury in 2018 had previously been based in the former White Lion and Royal George buildings.
It has now made a comeback in Thornbury High Street at the site of the former Thornbury Tap.
Opening today, Tuesday, October 15, owner Marius Mirella - who goes by Mario - is a local resident who said bringing the restaurant back to the town 'means a lot' to him.
He said: "It's time to bring Mezze back where it started.
"Bringing Mezze back to Thornbury means so much to me."
