AN ANIMAL shelter based in the Dursley area has revealed it is due to open a new large charity shop.
Cotswolds Dogs and Cats Home - which is located in Cambridge - is planning to launch a store at the site of an old car dealership in Stroud.
Although a date has not been given, it is thought the new charity shop could open next month in Thompson First MG, based in London Road, Bowbridge.
The car dealership - which shut in October - had been based at the location in one guise or another since 1972.
The charity - which has been running for more than 80 years - provides care and support to vulnerable animals.
It supports more than 1,000 animals each year.
