A UNIQUE hip hop act who have performed at Glastonbury are due to come to Wotton next weekend.
The Scribes Boombox is due to make an appearance at Under the Edge Arts on Saturday, November 2.
The group is known for a blend of beatboxing, off the cuff freestyling, crowd participation and genre-spanning music.
They have performed together at festivals across the UK, including Glastonbury, WOMAD, Boomtown, Latitude and Wilderness.
They have also even shared the stage with the likes of Macklemore, Rudimental, Rizzee Rascal, Rag N Bone Man and Example.
An organiser said: “The group’s unique talents have combined to make a trademark sound unlike any other, featuring a seamless blend of live instrumentation and sampling set against a block rocking backdrop of booming beatboxing.
“They are known for critically acclaimed performances full of energy, improvisation and off the cuff freestyling.”
The performance starts at 8pm.
