TRAINS have been cancelled this afternoon after a ‘safety issue’ was discovered on the line near Cam & Dursley.
Services between Gloucester and Bristol Parkway have been affected by the issue since 1pm today, Thursday, October 24.
A notice on GWR’s website says: “Due to a safety inspection of the track between Gloucester and Cam & Dursley all lines are blocked.
“Train services between Gloucester and Bristol Parkway may be cancelled or delayed.
“We are sorry for the delay to your journey.
“We will update with more information when we have it.”
It is understood disruption is expected until 1.45pm.
