DURSLEY’s leisure centre will be shut for 10 days as part of a revamp.
The Pulse will be closed from Monday, November 4 to Thursday, November 14.
During the closure, improvements are being made to upgrade the poolside changing rooms and reception area.
When the centre reopens, it will have a new name - Active Lifestyles Dursley.
It comes as Stroud District Council is taking back control of Stratford Park Leisure Centre from Friday, November 1.
The Stroud centre will also be closed from Friday, November 1 to Friday, November 8.
A district council spokesperson said: "When we reopen, there will be a new look to both centres, which will now be known as Active Lifestyles Stroud and Active Lifestyles Dursley.
"Our staff will have undergone intensive customer service training, and we will have carried out the most important repairs at both sites.
"In the New Year, we will be carrying out a major review of the health, wellbeing and physical activity services across our district.
"Part of this will include the opportunity for everyone to have their say about the future of leisure provision in our district and the facilities available.
"This will guide future investments and grant applications.”
