POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was the victim of alleged racist abuse at Cribbs Causeway at the weekend.
On Sunday, July 20, at 5.45pm, the 34-year-old victim, who is a black man, was getting off a bus on Passage Road when three white male youths began to talk to him.
As the victim talked on his mobile phone, the youths then began to shout racist abuse at the man.
Although physically uninjured, the man was left shocked by the incident.
All three youths were white, aged between 14 and 15 years, with blond hair.
All three are also believed to have been on bicycles and rode off towards Crow Lane after the incident.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or might know the offenders involved.
