YOUNGSTERS enjoyed three days of music, skate boarding, BMX tricks and games at Gloucestershire’s best youth festival.
The Scratch and Skate festival, held in Cam, saw over 250 youngsters visit Jubilee Playing fields over the weekend to show off tricks on the skate park, have a go at being a DJ or just enjoy the music.
"It was a really, really good weekend," said Gemma Grieve, youth worker for Cam and Dursley and organiser of the event.
"The music over the weekend was fantastic and the skaters really enjoyed themselves and spent the whole weekend on the ramps showing off their skills."
On Saturday families also turned up to join in games, listen to music and enjoy the atmosphere of the festival, which is run by Gloucestershire Youth Service with help from young volunteers.
"The volunteers did a fantastic job and they all turned up over the weekend to help out, which was great," added Gemma.
Organisers would like to thank Tesco in Cam, World Jungle, Cadence Designs, Wall Space, Vale of Berkeley College and Decimal skate shop for all their help and donations.
