POLICE have issued an urgent appeal for the return of items taken from a vet's surgery in Winterbourne.
The burglary took place overnight between Sunday, August 3 and Monday, August 4 at the The Veterinary Surgery in Bradley Avenue.
Property taken includes several cameras which contained images of animal operations which are needed by the surgery. Pets who were undergoing treatment at the surgery cannot be identified by the photographs as the images show just the work being undertaken as part of the operation.
Also taken during the burglary was a quantity of Frontline Combo flea controls for dogs and cats which are only available on prescription and cannot be bought over the counter.
Police have urged anyone who is offered this type of flea control to contact them.
They have also appealed for the return of the cameras which contain photographs which are needed by the surgery.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have noticed anything unusual in Bradley Lane at the time of the burglary.
Anyone with information or has been offered the flea treatment is asked to contact police at Staple Hill on 0845 4567000.
