PEOPLE who live and work in the Yate and Chipping Sodbury area are being urged to celebrate their wonderful wildlife.
They have been invited to join a walk taking in everything the River Frome valley has to offer.
Organised by the Avon Frome Partnership, working with the Friends of the River Frome and South Gloucestershire Council, the walk will give a taster of what a wonderful natural resource the Frome Valley is.
The six-mile walk from the car park on Wickwar Road, Chipping Sodbury will follow the Frome Valley walkway and experts will provide an insight into its heritage and wildlife.
It takes place on Thursday, September 11 (10.30am). Call 0117 922 4325 to book and walkers are warned to wear sturdy footwear.
