VETS in Wotton are asking local residents if they have lost two baby ferrets.
The female albino ferrets, who are just a few months old, were brought into the Rowe Veterinary Surgery in Bradley Green, Wotton-under-Edge by a passer-by on Monday morning.
"A man just saw them on the side of the road," said Hil Varlow, speaking on behalf of the Rowe Veterinary Group.
"They are very cute – just a few months old – and they are very wriggly and happy.
"They are tame and handlable, so somebody must be missing them.
"We would have no trouble re-homing these ferrets, because they are absolutely gorgeous," added Hil, "but we would really like to track down their real owners first."
If you are able to claim the ferrets, please contact the surgery on 01453 843295.
