POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Thornbury High Street.
The man was attacked at 1.30am on Saturday, March 28 by a group of men on the High Street between the White Lion and the Knot of Rope pubs.
The men are described as white, around 17 years of age and some were carrying rucksacks. It is believed one had a skinhead hair cut and another could have been topless.
Police would now like to speak to these men as they may have information to aid their enquiries.
Officers believe there were many people leaving pubs in the area at the time who also may have witnessed the incident.
