PUPILS and staff at Hillesley Primary School welcomed Points West presenter Alex Lovell to the school to officially open their new garden.
The garden, designed by local landscape gardener Sean Mills, of Mills Associates, was created with the Early Years curriculum specifically in mind and will be enjoyed by all the pupils throughout the year.
Alex also announced the winner of the competition to name the school's Friendship Garden and design a plaque to celebrate its opening.
The winner, Jake Mason, was invited to cut the ribbon with Alex.
The presenter later joined pupils and friends of Hillesley Primary, who sang and danced in Tudor and Victorian costumes.
Jill Brookes, headteacher at the school, said: "This latest new resource will make the education at the school more stimulating and exciting."
