POLICE have launched an investigation after a man was robbed when his car broke down in Yate.
The 21-year-old was forced to pull over on North Road, at 3.30pm on Friday, April 24, when his red Vauxhall Vectra overheated.
He was approached by a man who lent into the car, punched him, and tried to grab the car keys. The attacker held down the victim while another man stole the car stereo system. Both men ran off in the direction of Armstrong Road.
Both men are described as white, 18 to 21 years old and between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall.
The first attacker had brown eyes and a clear complexion. He was wearing a black cap with a rounded peak, a black hooded top, black trousers with a white motif on the left hip, black footwear, and black gloves.
The second man is described as having a long thin face and a spotted complexion. He was wearing light blue jeans, a black hooded top, and a white and green cap with red writing on the side.
