HAVE your say on how the county is run by voting in the local elections on June 4.
The nominations for candidates are now in and Gloucestershire residents are being urged to turn-out and vote next month.
In recent years, turnout at the polling stations has dwindled, yet local councils are responsible for the day to day services that affect everybody.
Director of law and administration, Nigel Roberts, said: "Gloucestershire County Council’s responsibilities include roads, schools, fire & rescue, older people and libraries.
"These are services that affect everyone, and that is why councillors are elected - to represent your views on topics just like this. Whatever your political views, remember that local democracy is important - use your vote on June 4 and have your say."
See the Gazette this Thursday for the full list of candidates from your area plus each party leaders explains why you should vote for them.
