A FAMILY was rescued from their home by fire fighters at the weekend.
The fire broke out in a block of council flats in The Croft, Cam, at around 8pm on Saturday, May 16. Three fire engines, two from Dursley and one from Wotton-under-Edge, were sent to the scene where a man, two women and two children we rescued by the fire service.
The residents of the flat were not injured and a spokesman from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue said there was only minimal damage to the property.
