PUPILS have been showing off their talents to help raise money for school funds.
Family and friends of pupils at Raysfield Infants and Junior Schools all turned out to support the schools’ summer fair at the weekend.
The fair, which was organised by the PTA groups for both schools, included an inter-class sports competition, a Raysfields’ Got Talent, with children singing, dancing and playing musical instruments, a barbecue, refreshments and a variety of stalls.
John Bird, head teacher at Raysfield Junior School, said: "It was a very successful day. We were very lucky with the weather, which managed to hold off until we had finished.
"The day was a good demonstration of the good partnership between the two schools. We do not know yet how much was raised but it will be divided between the two schools."
