A MOTORCYCLIST from Yate was killed in a road crash on Saturday.
Mark Charles Hendy, aged 25, died when his red Ducati 1098cc motorbike was in collision with a stationary car in the Wiltshire village of Ashton Keynes.
Police and a fire crew from Cirencester were called to the accident, which happened at 4.15pm.
Mr Hendy suffered multiple injuries in the crash, which also involved two other stationary vehicles.
He was taken by ambulance to Great Western Hospital in Swindon and later died.
No one else was injured in the accident.
The road was closed for a number of hours and traffic was diverted while specialist investigators carried out inquiries.
