RESIDENTS in Pucklechurch are meeting next week to discuss improvements to bus services in the village.
The transportation working group of the Pucklechurch Community Plan has organised a public meeting to call for better bus facilities from Pucklechurch, Shortwood and Parkfield to Bristol and other towns in the area.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting, at the village hall on Wednesday, January 13 (8pm), so they can have their say.
At the meeting, a summary will be given on data already collected in a Community Plan survey and options which will now be put to the parish council, South Gloucestershire Council and local bus companies.
Anyone who cannot attend the meeting but wishes to make their comments known is asked to write to Martin Smith at Hodden Cottage, Hodden Lane, Pucklechurch, BS16 9SG of email community.plan@pucklechurch.org before January 12.
