POLICE are reminding homeowners to make sure all of their property is properly secure.
The warning comes after an increase in shed break-ins during the last two weeks.
Officers say that in Thornbury, Alveston and Tytherington there have been more than a dozen shed break-ins over the last 14 days.
PC Natalie Draper, from Thornbury Police Station, said: "During the last fortnight we have seen a sudden increase across the policing neighbourhood so would like to remind residents that they need to make sure all of their property including sheds, garages and outbuildings are secure."
Anyone with information about the break-ins should call the police on 0845 456 7000 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
