ALL SCHOOLS have re-opened in South Gloucestershire.
Primary and secondary schools across the district were forced to shut to staff and pupils last week after three inches of snowfall.
Many schools remained closed for three days, though some reopened last Friday to GCSE and A-Level pupils.
South Gloucestershire Council has said it still has enough grit to keep local roads open.
A spokesman said: "Last night our crews concentrated on any problem areas that required gritting in the district.
"Salt levels on the roads are currently high but we will continue to monitor the situation over the next few days."
The Met Office is warning of more snow during the next 48 hours with up to 15cm possible during Tuesday afternoon and overnight into Wednesday.
