A SEVERE weather warning has been issued for the entire South West region.
The Met Office has said there is a 60 percent chance of heavy snow affecting Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire and Somerset, as well as South Wales this afternoon and tonight.
Between midday today, Tuesday, and tomorrow morning, Wednesday, people can expect to see up to 5cm and potentially 15cm over hills.
The Met Office said: "There is a high risk of a severe weather event affecting parts of west and South West England as well as parts of Wales.
"Rain will turn to snow as it moves north-eastwards through Tuesday and the first part of Wednesday."
