A DURSLEY man has died following a five car collision on Tuesday night.
The emergency services were at the scene of the accident on Taits Hill, Dursley, for nine hours and a 34-year-old man from the town was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision happened just after 10pm on the B4066 near Stinchcombe.
It involved a green VW Golf, black Vauxhall Corsa, blue Skoda Octavia, silver Citroën ZX and a BMW.
The VW Golf, which belonged to the 34-year-old, was found on its roof when the emergency services arrived.
Three ambulances were dispatched and arrived within 15 minutes.
The road was closed for approximately nine hours while the emergency services worked at the scene.
A spokesman for Great Western Ambulance Service said their paramedics attended to a further five people at the scene, all with minor injuries, and they were taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for checks.
