A GOVERNMENT exhibition is to be held in Thornbury next month outlining plans for the future of nuclear power.
The three-day exhibition and public discussion are part of the consultation on the draft National Policy Statement for Energy Infrastructure and the draft Nuclear National Policy Statement.
Representatives from the Department for Energy and Climate Change will be on hand discussing the government’s proposal to build a new nuclear power station at Oldbury.
The exhibition will be held at the Turnberries Centre, Thornbury, on Thursday, February 4 and Friday, February 5 (9am-7pm) and Saturday, February 6 (9am-4pm).
A public discussion is to be held at Thornbury Leisure Centre on Saturday, February 6 (10am). Advance registration is required.
