I WOULD like to say how much I enjoyed the Gazette of March 4. The amount of articles taken from Ham and Stone Parish Council meeting almost made me feel I had been at the meeting. In future, parish councils could just mail you the minutes of their meetings and you could fill the paper with more really uninteresting items - no need to go looking for real news.

Editors note: Thank you for your kind comments Mr Hawkins. My two hard-working reporters who spend several evenings each week attending council meetings really appreciate them as, I am sure, do the residents of Ham and Stone.
