SIR - I don't see what Margaret Nolder's letter (Unfamiliar with school transport, Gazette, January 14) is getting at. My letter to which she refers only states a fact about David Drew's voting on a particular amendment.
It seems she is favouring free school transport for everyone. I would support that, though it was not the subject of my letter
I, of course, accept that the distance over which free transport is offered should be two miles for the under eights.
