A POLICE investigation into the death of a woman in Dursley last week has been scaled down.
Following a preliminary post-mortem examination, police now believe that the woman, who was in her 30s, died as a result of natural causes.
The body was found by police at a flat in Cedar Drive at 7am on Thursday. Police initially sealed off the area while forensic officers and a Home Office pathologist investigated the death.
The woman's identity has not been revealed. Police spokesman Matt Ford said: "We are not going to be naming her because it was natural causes."
