PASSENGERS travelling to and from Cam and Dursley station enjoyed a largely trouble-free month in April, according to the station campaign group.
And it was a double cause for celebration as the station completes its first decade in service next week.
This month marks the 10th anniversary of Cam and Dursley station opening - the first Gloucestershire station to be opened after the 1960s Beeching cuts.
The first train, the CoJAC express, ran from the station on May 14, 1994, and Tuesday will mark the official opening of the station on May 18, 1994. Coaley Junction Action Committee has congratulated Wessex Trains for its operating performance for April.
Spokesman Dr Clive Mowforth said: "April was another good month: punctuality - the proportion of trains within five minutes of arrival time - close to the target of 92 percent and reliability - proportion of scheduled trains that ran - at 100 percent.
"The average delay of one minute 45 seconds was the lowest recorded for at least four years."
