THE NUMBER of registrations for broadband on the Cambridge telephone exchange has reached BT's trigger point of 150.
One of the campaigners said: "This is great news for all individuals and businesses in the Slimbridge, Cambridge and (most of) Coaley areas. BT will now review the registration data and should announce a service date in the near future. This is likely to be three-to-four months away."
The number of registrations almost doubled in the seven weeks from the end of August.
