A NATIONALLY renowned independent radiation expert will be in Dursley next week for a talk on the effects of TETRA masts on people's health.
Barrie Trower will explain the risks associated with the masts and will field questions from the public.
The talk will take place at the Dursley Tabernacle on Tuesday (7-9pm) and all are welcome to attend.
Lynne Edmunds, TETRA co-ordinator for Mast Action and consultant for Mast Sanity, urged people to go along.
She said: "This is a unique opportunity for people to grill one of the few independent experts in the field of low level radiation masts and mobile phones."
Mr Trower agreed to come to Dursley free following reports that more than 30 people have started experiencing effects of ill-health.
The symptoms were all completely unknown to the sufferers until trials started on the antennae on the BT building in Dursley.
Mr Trower has also done extensive research into the effects on police officers of their TETRA-Airwave communications system.
Anyone interested in having radiation levels in their home confidentially monitored can register on 01453 872915.
