SIR - It was good to see your news report and comment (Gazette, September 26) on the continuing struggle to prevent the building of a monstrous mansion called Brimpscombe Park in the wonderfully beautiful valley at Bagpath, near Kingscote. May we urge your readers to join their voices to those of the many local objectors having to make our case for the third time.
Cotswold District Council's planning committee is to hear the application on October 15, having turned it down twice already.
It is not too late to send objections in writing, and the public can attend the committee hearing.
