Reading the Gazette (February 25) I am sure Cllr Alan Bracey and his fellow councillors are very pleased with putting another obstacle in the way of Network Rail's plans to remove the trees from the railway embankment at Coalpit Heath.
In doing so they have condemned me, and I am sure others, to more years of darkness. Living at the foot of the embankment these trees have grown so tall they restrict the amount of sunshine in the garden.
I look forward to the day when the trees come down and the sunshine returns in all its glory to the garden
