NORTHAVON MP Steve Webb visited a Yate school this week in response to letters from Year Six pupils concerning recent incidents of vandalism at the school.
He promised the children of St Mary's School to raise their concerns with police and community leaders.
There was a discussion on aspects of his role as an MP, which covered part of the children's citizenship curriculum.
"He was very nice and friendly and we were interested in what he said about being an MP," said one youngster.
