Yate Town enjoyed a fine weekend over the new year and their two wins moved them into third place in Division One West of the Southern League.
Manager Rich Thompson said: "I couldn't have been more pleased. They were two fantastic results against two good sides. Both games tested us to the full.
"We are now four points behind Mangotsfield with two games in hand, but I'm not making too much of that. We are quietly ticking over and taking the games as they come."
