A MAJOR charity golf tournament is heading to Chipping Sodbury in September and it has already attracted a large field of players.
The Arthritis Research Campaign (arc) Charity Golf Day will feature teams of four golfers all attempting to win three top prizes that will be handed out to the highest scoring teams.
The contest will take place at The Chipping Sodbury Golf Club on Friday, September 24, and is set to feature 104 players (a maximum of 26 teams of four).
The idea is for the golfers to put on a good competition while helping the Arthritis Research Campaign to find a cure for the disease.
The action will take place at the beautifully landscaped championship standard course in Chipping Sodbury.
There is an entry fee of £180 for a team of four, and this will entitle team members to the full use of the club's facilities as well as a meal in the clubhouse.
Sponsorship is also invited for holes, prizes and the event itself. For more information, contact Steve Chesworth on 01225 315542.
