A DAUGHTER is searching for an heirloom left by her mother that got accidentally taken to a charity shop.
Sue Marsh is desperately trying to track down a silver monkey statue that was sold at the Blue Cross charity shop in Dursley that belonged to her mother Jill Conolly who died last November.
The item was mistakenly taken to the charity shop by a member of the family without her knowledge and was sold sometime at the start of June.
Sue is devastated it has gone and is asking for the buyer to contact her so she can buy it back.
"I don’t think the statue is worth a great deal, but it has real sentimental value for me," said Sue, who now lives in London. "It was something that was given to my mum from her mum and was meant to be passed on to her children. We are terribly upset about it."
If you bought the silver monkey statue or know of its whereabouts call Sue on 07880 811647.
