DURSLEY’S £10 million hospital has been officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal.
Princess Anne made the visit to the new Vale Community Hospital last Friday, February 10.
The Princess was welcomed by HM Lord-Lieutenant for Gloucestershire Dame Janet Trotter DB, she also met with local dignitaries before being taken on a tour by staff of the 20-bed hospital.
Jan Stubbings, chief executive of NHS Gloucestershire, said: "Today marks the culmination of a tremendous team and community effort over the past few years to create this fantastic hospital environment."
