POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an opportunist thief stole a handbag from a home in Cam. At approximately 8.30pm on Saturday, May 12, a woman left her handbag unattended in the hallway of a home on Chapel Street whilst the front door was open.
According to police when she returned just a few minutes later the handbag had gone.
Officers would like to hear from anyone that was in the area on Saturday evening that might have witnessed the incident.
Anyone with any information should call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 495 of May 12.
