AVON and Somerset Constabulary is hosting its annual bike safe event at Castle Coombe race track on Saturday, June 2.
The force organises the training and advisory day to raise awareness of motorbike safety and give bikers the chance to experience the race track.
Now in it's third year, the South West Regional Bikesafe and Castle Combe Track Experience event offers 312 riders with full bike licences to come along and have their on-road riding assessed by an advanced police motorcyclist.
On return to Castle Combe they will then be handed over to track instructors for a safety briefing before being allowed out onto the track in groups of 12 for a 15-minute track experience.
Non-riders are also welcome to the track, where there will be trade exhibitions, family attractions and a chance to watch the amazing skills of stunt rider Mattie Griffin.
Taking part in the bikesafe training costs £30 but for those not taking part the event is free. The day starts at 8am for participants or 10am for general entry.
Last year 275 riders took part. To book go to www.bikesafe.co.uk/castlecombe
