A BOX of bees, part of the load carried by a lorry that crashed off the M5 in Gloucestershire in the early hours of this morning, was damaged in the incident.

Gloucestershire Beekeepers Association has been called to help recover the insects.

As reported earlier, the driver of the lorry, believed to be from Dudley, was killed in the incident, which took place between junctions 11a and 12 at around 1.30am today.
