OLVESTON villagers do not do things small.
Their Diamond Jubilee parade boasted not one but two sovereigns and as many Kings--the highest number of royals in a single parade in South Gloucestershire.
The Queen and her consort joined by the Golden Jubilee's Pearly monarchs led the village's procession and set the mood for the majestic day ahead on Monday.
The festivities ticked all the "Bristish" boxes with a traditional fair, cart race, cricket competiton, and cream tea treats for the less sports-minded.
After a jig at the Parish Hall, a bonfire was the perfect way to end the eventful day and warmed up more than one blue toes.
