POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a mobility scooter belonging to a pensioner in Yate.
It was taken at around 5.50pm on Sunday, September 5 after a group of youths were seen around the scooter at a property in Stanshaws Drive.
It belongs to an 83-year-old woman who uses the vehicle as her only means to get around. The cover has been found nearby.
Police would now like to speak to anyone who may have seen the scooter or have been offered it to buy. It is described as a red sapphire mobility scooter.
