Bitton FC U15 Girls 4 Wotton Rovers U15 Girls 2 ROVERS came under immediate pressure and, despite solid goalkeeping by Emma Topping, sloppy outfield defending gifted Bitton two goals which ultimately proved to be the difference between the two sides.
Bitton scored a well-worked third to enter the break with a 3-0 lead. But this was a classic game of two halves' with Wotton applying all the pressure in the second half.
Charlie Strickland's precision cross found Alana Pain who finished calmly for Wotton's first. Pain subsequently won and converted a penalty for the second. Adella Thomas and Molly Chinner had near misses but Bitton managed one more goal from a counter attack.
Wotton's joint players of the match were Emma Topping and Alana Pain.
