DURSLEY runner Keelan Tootell, 12, looks set for a county call-up in March following success in the Gloucestershire County Cross Country Championships at the weekend.
Rednock pupil Keelan, a member of Stroud Athletic Club, was a member of the winning Stroud under-13 team, and finished fifth individually, which will see him compete for Gloucestershire at Nottingham in March.
Keelan's sister Cailin, 9, also enjoyed success, finishing seventh in the under-11 race.
Keelan has been a member of the Stroud club for just over a year and trains with them three or four times a week.
