Dursley 3 Ross-on-Wye 3 Dursley survived a late penalty scare to share the spoils in this clash.
With the last kick of the game Ross-on-Wye's Chris Gage put his penalty wide, but in truth it would have been very harsh on the Maroons who enjoyed most of the possession and dominated the first half.
The home side started brightly and almost opened up an early lead with a penalty, but the wind played a factor as the ball blew over just as Stef Hawley was making contact, leading to a scuffed kick.
He made amends five minutes later however when the visitors were penalised for hands in the ruck straight in front of the posts.
Hawley almost doubled the lead with an ambitious penalty attempt from 45 yards but he couldn't get enough distance on the ball.
With the strong wind in their favour, Dursley piled the pressure on their visitors with fly-half Robbie Winchle kicking into the corner at every opportunity.
But despite almost camping in Ross' 22, they lost the ball at crucial times and couldn't break down a strong defence.
Ten minutes into the second half Ross made the Maroons pay for giving away a number of needless penalties, and Gage levelled the scores with a kick right under the posts.
Neither side were able to get a grip of the game though in the tough conditions, and a try always looked unlikely.
Dursley's hearts were in their mouths when they conceded a last minute penalty, and although Gage's effort from 45 yards had the legs it went harmlessly wide.
Dursley captain Andy Scott said: "We're happy to take the point due to the conditions, but it's probably more of a point dropped.
"Ben Dix had an exceptional game on his debut, and our defence proved very solid.
"Two tries went begging for us in the first half, and we were always going to be up against it in those conditions in the second."
