Cam Everside U11s 1 Slimbridge Crusaders U11s 6 Slimbridge Crusaders dominated this derby match played in windy conditions. Everside were the quicker to settle with an opener after ten minutes from commanding striker Jack Smith, who caught the Slimbridge defence wrong footed with a good finish.
Within five minutes Slimbridge were in front with two goals.
The first was a cracker inspired from a fine Marcus Tudor cross to Mitchell Cornock who volleyed into the roof of the net.
Jake Dolbear scored the second after breaking through the defence and slotting the ball passed the advancing keeper.
Slimbridge began to dominate the game in the second half with great passing skills orchestrated by captain Marcus Cole.
Will Gosling scored from close range after a well taken corner.
Dolbear and Gosling added more goals, both from Cornock's right wing crosses.
Cornock added the sixth scoring from close range. Cam Everside to their credit never gave up and the long ball was always difficult for Slimbridge to cope with.
Everside Man of the match: Jack Smith. Crusaders man of the match: Marcus Cole.
