Kidderminster went ahead after five minutes with a well hit shot from 20 yards that skidded on the wet surface to deceive the JSSI keeper.
Kidderminster continued to press, but JSSI played some good football to create chances and should have been level by half time.
JSSI dominated the second half, with football that was simply a privilege to watch.
Flowing passing moves and constant pressure on the home side, resulted in successive corners and several shots at the Kidderminster goal.
A series of goal line clearances, fine saves from Kidderminster's keeper and the post on three occasions somehow denied JSSI.
With minutes left Kidderminster scored from a rare break away.
Despite losing JSSI were applauded off by the Kidderminster spectators for the nature of their performance.
